Rendezvous #3 takes inspiration from vintage Tiki culture in Southern California. Join us for an all-inclusive night of Tiki craft cocktails, rum tasting, Polynesian snacks, entertainment and good times amongst friends. Your All Inclusive Night at the Rendezvous Tiki Lounge Includes: Access to the party's secret location within the storied walls of THE US GRANT Hotel, and re-imagined with Tiki design details Rum Tasting Bar sponsored by Mount Gay Rum Tiki Cocktails by Chef de Bar Cory Alberto to include the classics - Mai Tai, Fog Cutter, and Painkiller Cocktail (a twist on the Piña Colada) A taste of Polynesian snacks by Executive Chef Mark Kropczynski Tiki Vinyl Music by DJ Marshall Islands It's no secret THE US GRANT housed a popular San Diego Speakeasy during the dark years of Prohibition, 1920-1933. Under the ownership of the illustrious Baron Long, barrels of booze made their way into the hotel via underground tunnels leading directly to the bay where smugglers would rendezvous at Rum Row to acquire alcohol from our South of the Border neighbor. Thirsty patrons from near and far who learned of THE US GRANT's speakeasy - and most importantly the secret password - would gather at the hotel's service entry to be escorted inside. Here, one can only imagine the revelry that ensued… Rendezvous with us at THE US GRANT once again, with a spirited social gathering reminiscent of the many Speakeasy nights once shared within our storied walls. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Due to the nature of this event, guests must be 21+. ID's will be verified prior to entry and must match the reservation name. Is there a dress code? No. The Rendezvous dress code is relaxed for this event to coincide with the theme. How and when will I receive the password and location details? Within 48 hours of purchasing your ticket, you will receive an e-mail with your personalized password for your party. Within 24 hours of the event start time, you will receive location details on where to meet your Rendezvous Lounge host. The meeting location will be just outside of THE US GRANT Hotel in Downtown. Once your password is verified, your Rendezvous Lounge host will escort you into the secret location within THE US GRANT Hotel. What is the refund policy?
