Lovely velvet work, Robert! I have recently plunged into the world of velvet myself. My first one (see my recent post) was on silk/rayon velvet, but am now fiddling with low pile velvet flocking, which seems to be the stuff that so many Mexican velvet artists used. Sooo much easier to work with. What kind of velvet are you working with, if I might ask?

Thanks Gwen!

I bought the lowest pile black velvet I could find at JoAnn fabric and mounted it to masonite using gel medium.

Your piece is awesome by the way!
