The tung oil finish is doing this section of Manzanita justice and contrasting the light and dark sections well. The Himalayan Cedar is being prepared for chiseling. Drawing and measurements, next comes Plasticine M/odeling on a smaller scale and then the fun part! Lot's ofburls and knots and luckily tiki art is very forgiving. The Log also serves the dual purpose as a barrier for those who are "Parking Challenged" and will create a ruckus and / or damage a vehicle if backed into; offering a little incentive to look before they reverse.
