A little more info:

RSVP is required.

When is the party?
September 3rd 7pm-very late

Where is it?
Our house, The Enchanted Lagoon, Southwest Austin, Tx. The event address will be emailed to those who RSVP the week of the party (or email me).

Who is invited?
Tiki Centralites, Texas Tikiphiles on email and Facebook, and friends of those. This is not a public party, but those who RSVP are welcome to invite a few friends who you trust and know will be respectful that this is our home. Just let me know and have them RSVP.

Are kids invited?
This is essentially an adult party. We have a large yard that is dark with multiple water features that are not fenced. There is no lifeguard and our house is not childproofed. That being said, if you cannot find a sitter for the keikis, we will not turn you away!

Is it free?
We're asking for a suggested donation of $25 per person to help cover some of the costs. We organize this party ourselves for the love of Polynesian Pop and don't make a profit. Your rsvp donation includes all food, beverage and entertainment, even a free entry for door prizes. This year a portion of each rsvp donation as well as beverage tips will benefit charity.

So what's happening?
Fabulous bands and dj on the lanai. And food and tiki beverage, tiki mini-golf, swimming, lounging in the upstairs tiki room, dancing and hula hooping.

What to wear?
Wear your vintage aloha shirts and tiki dresses, or anything tropical. Bring your swimsuit if you'd like to dip in the lagoon. Ladies, comfortable shoes are suggested for the uneven terrain, and spikes aren't allowed on the golf greens.

What to bring?
As always, we encourage everyone to bring a food or drink item to share. That would be awesome, and is greatly appreciated, but not required. Bring your swimsuit and towel (Seriously. Put it in the car. Everyone changes their mind after awhile and wants to jump in). A hula hoop if you like. And don't forget a little something to throw in the charity tip jar and if you'd like to purchase something from the wonderful vendors!

Do you need any help?
Why, yes. Glad you asked. We could definitely use more volunteers. We could use some help the day before setting up, and the night of the party it will all be easy tasks that are less than an hour. Maybe as easy as making sure we still have ice and the torches stay lit. Please email me if you're willing to lend a hand. Mahalo to those who've already volunteered! I will email you soon!
