I visited Sam's yesterday because I just happened to be in the building for something else about 15 minutes before opening. Me and my better half were party #9 to get in. She had one of the non-alcoholic Polynesian Punches, and I had the Mosquito Mojito with Bacardi Dragon Berry rum. My skipper warned me in advance that their mojito was super sweet compared to a regular mojito. I asked if they could dial back the sweetness, and he told me that they could not because the Bacardi was just so sweet. He was right, I did find it too sweet, but the flavor was good and I enjoyed it.

Coming in to the room at the start of their day (4pm) felt a bit awkward. It just seemed too early for the high-energy schtick, and with most likely every last one of us sober and not warmed up, decided that 4pm opening is not something I would enjoy doing again unless I really needed a drink. It was hot yesterday, so I really did need that drink, and I had a good time even though I only spent about 45 minutes to grab one drink and cool off. Then I moved on to Celebration Hospital to visit a friend who became ill at one of the parks and had emergency surgery for appendicitis that morning. (Uh-oa!) I know he will always remember this weekend in Orlando!
