Great digs. Got to ask where did you get that elongated wood bowl with tiki figures on each end (in front of the lamp)? There are a couple of these in the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. They were used for food serving by the Hawaiian royalty. My theory is this is the turning point for Hawaiians to stop worshiping ki'i (tiki) but to use them as utilitarian art like we do today. A piece like that is top of my list to buy (not an original but some kind of copy). Anybody have a insights on where to purchase one?
