Yesterday, Wahine Marian and I had the rare opportunity to visit with Flounder and his soul-mate Meg in Cocoa. Flounder's place is not easy to find. He's way back in the woods where he can find complete isolation to work out his mad vision of tiki.
Even so, we couldn't resist the chance to visit what we were sure would be a groovy loft. We wanted to see where Flounder puts on his beret and throws paint on burlap and canvas.
Wow, were we ever stunned by the complete mastery he has achieved over his artistic environment. His abode is more than a studio, it is a complete statement of his oneness with the universal tiki.
So thanks for having us over on such short notice yesterday Flounder, and for making an all out effort to clean up all the torn canvas and broken frames, so we could negotiate our way to your legendary easel.
