Capirotada is a traditional Mexican dish that dates back to the 1600’s.It’s sorta a bread pudding on steroids.
Layers of bread soaked in cinnamon syrup with nuts, cheese, cloves, candy sprinkles and a host of other ingredients.
It’s usually served during the lenten season, especially on Good Friday.
Outstanding with a big glass of cold milk
