A little bit o history from the South Pacific. It seems as though they stole the purchasing agent, Mr. Harold chase, from the Mai Kai and the Mai Kai sued to prevent the leak of"exotic secrets"!
Kind of funny given that the restaurants ended up trading servers, bartenders and entertainers over the years, like this guy who worked both establishments. Here is an old news photo with a nice view of the A-Frame and the tower.
