With a cheap trim router like that, you don't want to over-tax it. The key is to make multiple shallow passes so the motor doesn't overwork itself and burn out. And I like to take a break every 5-10 minutes to let it rest a bit. I don't worry about that kind of thing with my big, two-handed Skil router, but then again, it doesn't ever get hot to the touch. I don't expect I'll ever use the trim router much once all my baseboards are done, so I couldn't really justify the expense of investing in a quality tool! :lol:
