You jogged my brain... It is a nod to the Jungle Cruise elephants, and in the context of Trader Sam's, it works and is ok. My comments last night were my first reaction -- before your comment woke me up and made me think about it some more. Since Sam's is a blend of tiki and Jungle Cruise, it fits and works and appeals to many of their fans. But it's still not something I'd want to buy and then put on any shelf in my bar unless I was a hardcore series collector. But even in that case - with the many decades ahead of us with this open-ended and never-ending money-making series of drinkware - there comes a point where some collectors will start having to be a bit selective. I don't think this one will be at the top of anyone's list. But now I do "get it" with the Sam's / Jungle Cruise blend in what is a whimsical seasonal mug.

I am so dang dense sometimes when I'm sober, lol... But I was at work, and in a hurry to leave for a meeting.

One thing I find amusing about Trader Sam's East and West is that Disney has created a way to introduce a segment of their fans to booze and tropical cocktails. The same is true of Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar at Disney Springs.
