Saffron is pretty costly and I did not think it was worth the cost for what I got. Did I get bad Saffron or is it one of those over rated things? I can get that color from egg shade for far less money. My dad loved lamb chops mom would broil these small 50 cent size pieces of meat that would smoke up the whole house, I never felt the love for those. Do you use mint jelly?
