I burned the figures on this five foot cedar log and left the green portions sanded only. The front and back and both sides are pretty much the same. Inlayed glass belly button on bottom. I wanted this piece to look like a stack of the river floats and cork I have been doing. The grain on cedar pops out after you apply a torch to it.
