Perhaps if people doubt that the Barrelito was served with a sleeve or not, the drink menu will clear up any doubts as it clearly states Barrelito,"A whole barrel of spirits" and was served by a long straw. Often times props are used to help enhance garnishes as mentioned but the drink glasses the Kahiki used were too tall and would have stuck out of the glass by several inches.
