I suppose I was imprecise with my wording. What I meant was that I could find no reference how the jade tiles were tied and knotted to hide said knots from view. I hadn't see those Japanese lashing techniques, though, so thanks for that ('tis a problem searching on Google when one doesn't know the proper terminology! :wink: ). Square lashing's what I've been trying to suss out to hide the wire ties. The diagrams will come in handy.
