Ha ha! Yeah, I'd love to wave a magic credit card and have a fully built tiki space appear instantaneously! There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, and the bonus is that you get to enjoy it to the fullest, immediately!

BUT--and this is something I wasn't expecting--my perspective has changed as I've done my build-outs. The Lagoon isn't finished--no home tiki bar ever is--but I've started working on an interior space as well. And I'm doing things differently, both inside and out, than I may have done five years ago. I've learned more about what works for me and what doesn't, but maybe more importantly my tastes have changed. Not radically, but there's been a distinct evolution. Visitors won't notice anything of the sort, but I can see it. That's interesting and surprising. It keeps things fresh and exciting, so that's a big plus for the take-it-slowly approach.
