Tiki Place Classifications - General Tiki

I don't recall exactly who came up with that acronym, but it may have been James Titelbaum, the author of "Tiki Road Trip," which came out a few years after Sven Kirsten's seminal volume, "The Book of Tiki", of it may have been Sven himself. I'm sure that someone with a better memory than me will chime in with a more authoritative answer. I'm not sure that I can define exactly what TiPSY is either, as it seems to be kind of a subjective reaction to a place based on the overall Tiki vibe.
