After I had the globes finished, I nabbed some cheap basketball nets and simmered them in a bath of brown Rit dye. Wired up a C7 socket, gathered the net on a couple of split rings, and there you have it! I had so many of these made that I actually sold several to my neighbors (spark that Tiki flame!), and at some local craft fairs. With the right bulb, they glow beautifully.
