I'm wondering if William Moultray had anything to do with this? He was from Yakima and ran Polynesian restaurants in the New York and San Antonio World's Fairs in ensuing years. He also opened a resort in Puerto Rico and had steak houses in Seattle and Yakima. If he wasn't directly involved, I wonder if this inspired him for his later ventures? |
