I found 6 of these recently at a thrift store... they look very similar to the Ed Langbein (MCM Italy) cups or the Taboo Island coconut, but these have a brown lip with the crackled white glazed interior you get on older ceramics, thinner walls than the Langbeins, and no markings on the bottom at all (which is also more unfinished looking than the above examples). The grooves on the side are pretty deep and rough, probably done with a pottery wire tool versus a fine-tined fork. They are about 4 inches across and 2.5 inches high on average though the top/lip edges are varied with a wavy line. I'm guessing they may be cups from a hobbyist mold, possibly. Nothing special I suppose, but... anyone know?
