I just saw a story about this today and found it rather interesting. Back in 2001 and artist, Richard Ankrom, decided to help millions of Los Angeles drivers find the freeway interchange from 110 to I 5 much easier. He took his artistic and sign painting skills to the max and faithfully imitated the Caltrans style in order to add this important way finding information. He also made a documentary about it, which interestingly to this group; uses Exotica Music as it's background. Enjoy! |
