Apparently since 1889 it's been produced by the Compagnie Rhumière de Bâle (with the CRB incorporated in the name). So, distilled and matured in Jamaica, then blended and bottled in Basel, Switzerland! I'd always assumed it was all Jamaican, but there you go. I'm thinking with the resurgence of craft cocktails and interest in finer drinking experiences they decided to step up their game.
