Baseline insulin

When we eat carbohydrates that turn into sugar, your insulin goes up to be able to transport the sugar. high insulin means pre-diabetes more than a hemoglobin A1c.

High insulin level leads to type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke and nerve damage.
