That's a very good point - there's certainly a place for them in a well-stocked Tiki bar. I've never come across any branded barrel mugs, but there seem to be quite a few 'generic' ones around, probably made in England. I'm not sure of the reason for the popularity here, or what era they were produced in, so perhaps I should investiage further on the Brit-Barrel phenomena.
