Easy to make signage - Tiki Carving

I was at a drug store and there was a sale on 2 foot long 1/4 inch bamboo garden stakes for 6 cents each and I knew there was something I could do with them so I stocked up. I picked up an eight foot piece of 1" by 6" distressed cedar for $0.59. I cut a two foot piece of the plank and cut the edges like it was shattered (inspired by the pictures in The Book of Tiki). The board was then spray painted gray and I cut bits of bamboo to make the letters and hot glued them on. I haven't decided on how to mount this yet but I'll probably drill a couple of holes in it and run a braided burlap string on the top. I'm happy with the results; please let me know what you think.
