I joined Cub Scouts in around 1966.

Made it to the first Jamboree and they found out I "didn't have a father", in their words.

End of Scouting. Thank God the delinquents took me in.

No single female parent homes were permitted in my town back then.

Sold my uniform to Linda Rondstadt.

I'm very pro-Scouting, though. If my boys wanna do it, I'm all in favor.
