Hawaiian Christmas - Advice wanted - General Tiki

I've never been to Hawaii before so I would like some advice on what to do and where to go specifically on Christmas Day and on New Year's eve. I realise that this is a busy time of year, so if there is anything I need to book in advance, I wanna get if booked before too late. Mahalo P.S.
