I've never been to the Oasis, but I can relate to what you're talking about. I attend a lot of "rockabilly" events where they attach a lot of crap and vendors that are completely unrelated. It does sound a bit puritanical to demand only tiki related stuff, but wtf it is a TIKI event right? There is a time and a place for everything...blah, blah, blah...maybe I'll be able to go next year. |
