Come on guys !! I'm not trying to be insenstitive to those parents with kids, but we cannot plan our fun/lives etc according to what's appropriate for children!

My argument had nothing to do with the PG-fication of the event. On the contrary -- yes, I watched the burlesque show with my son on my lap and I have no problem with that. Believe it or not at his young age, he didn't see anything there that he hasn't seen before.

What's not being understood is simply this:

BURLESQUE IS NOT TIKI.

I don't have anything against Burlesque but it is what it is and yes there are people who have an interest in both but it has its own scene.

This is a TIKI event sponsored by the TIKI News called TIKI Oasis.

In my opinion, the money spent on 6 minutes worth of burlesque would have been better spent on 1 hour of Tahitian Drummers, Polynesian Dancers, Hula Girls or the FRIKI TIKIS in keeping with the TIKI theme.
