Hi everyone - as mentioned every time you see me, or TikiBot, we're riding
the AIDS Lifecycle, to raise money for the SF AIDS Foundation! it's in 2
weeks, and it's from San Francisco to Los Angeles (June 6 - 12th) A few
months ago we had a big party to raise money and the people in the Tiki
Community overwhelmed us with their generosity and support. If you are
interested in finding out if we ride through your town, I'm posting the
campsites, (and miles we ride, just so you'll be impressed!) We'll be in LA,
staying in West Hollywood, on the Sunday after the ride (June 13th) and
leaving Monday morning. We'd love to meet up for cocktails, food,
therapeutic massages, on Sunday, and maybe Saturday night, (closing
ceremonies are late, and we might be tired...so we're playing it by ear!)
Let us know if you are interested and we'll send more info. If you happen to
live in or near these towns, check your local paper for info. on the ride. I
know that Santa Barbara has a big BBQ for the riders in the middle of town,
they have a big group that participates, and they roll out the red carpet,
with ice-cream, dogs, etc. So keep your ears perked, and watch for
PINEAPPLES in the road! GO TEAM PINEAPPLE!!
