Ok great topic to get in on.

  1. I just bought this movie, yes Lanikai I spent hard earned money on this, and laughed my considerable ass off. And it was one of Sandlers better movies, but what made it better it that it looks as if 99% was done on the islands.

  2. To me it was great that it was filmed in Hawaii, I hope that more things TV/Movie wise are done there also to put more money in the islands and the communities to support them, the people, the schools, etc.
Bring back Hawaii 5-0! (barely old enough to remember that, but would love to see a cop show done right on the islands)But only if they show how it really is instead of what they think it is.

  3. I do agree that "Tattoo Face" and Ula in the movie come across BAD in their depiction of Hawaiians. As a howle for over 2 years on Oahu I loved my time there, if I could return with my family I would be there in a heartbeat. I remember that mainlanders do not really understand what it is like to live on the islands, they come to paradise, drink-party-go home, and never really have a clue of what the really beauty of the islands is, to me it was always the feeling of being on a whole different rhythm with everything around you, and if you made friends with the locals you made friends for life. Which is rarely true on the mainland. I guess I better stop, as you can see I miss living on Oahu, been living in the snow zone too long, 9am and I need to go make a drink now.

"May the Tiki Gods bless you and always keep your life Tikifull!"
