Call me crazy, but a nice cold glass of Silk Soymilk!!

I had the following vegetarian desert the other day at Curry House, a japanese restaraunt:

A bottom layer of a crunchy disc that tasted like apple pie crust, topped with tofu cheesecake, layered with cantalope and drizzled with dark chocolate syrup and some sort of fruit jelly.

Does it sound good? it was just about the best desert I have ever had!! The cheesecake was exactly the same as regular cheesecake, only better!

"The roasted pineapple was served with pink pepper caramel, cashew brittle, and vanilla ice cream. It was a delicious combination, with the roasted pineapple warm and caramelized atop the caramel and brittle. The vanilla ice cream was creamy, yet not overly sweet and worked nicely with the sweet pineapple and caramel. A delicious ending to a great lunch."

Ba-BAM!!

The Yum = red vines
cotton candy
beef jerky
anything from Sonic

Those are my all-time favorite foods. (Although I'd give up all of them for any sandwich made by Al.)

And if you're really lucky....you might even witness a stabbing in the bathroom as Tikisobayli did many years ago!

YUM! (Chili dogs that is, hold the stabbings.)

Disneyland food?? oh yeah here's some more

The giant Corn dogs served in the Fire truck towards the middle of the park and the end of main street.

The Deep fried Burritos served by thunder mountain. but only when they are yellow collered, if they are red/orange and greassy, I'll pass.

I'm not sure if they still have them, but the custard filled pastries
from the place right next ot the entrance of the Pirtates of the Carribean.

With due respect to those who prefer sweet tastes over savory...

This is also the yum:

And, in a recent discovery since moving to the Windy City, this, too, is the yum:

Cracker Barrel's cheesy hash browns. Ymmmm.

+

The following cake had THREE layers, each one an intense color. (Red, orange, and green...I think) Each layer had a different intense flavor. (Toucan, Sunset, And Schnozzberry...I think.) The cake was incredibly moist, and it was definitely The Yum.

H

WEENIESQUIDS! Floated on a mustard pool (redneck calamari) Exclusively from the House of Howland.

Anything on a stick at a State Fair (especially corn dogs and deep fried snickers bars).

The Original Tommy's on Beverly & Ramparts.

It is the center of the Universe.
Ask the Dalai Lama next time you visit him. He goes about 2 a.m. nearly every Tuesday.

Somebody please provide a picture?

Just thought I'd add my two cents here.

No surprise to anyone from LA as these restaurants are reliable classics.

My favorite pastrami sandwich is found at Langer's Delicatessen & Restaurant
(704 S. Alvarado Street) YUM!

My favorite Bar-B-Q is found at Hogly Wogglys Tyler Texas Bar-B-Q
(Roscoe and Sepulveda) YUM!

My favorite breakfast place is found at The Pantry Restaurant
(877 S. Figueroa St.) Since 1924. YUM!

Baskin Robbin's Peanut Butter Chocolate ice cream.

The Yum:

One hot crispy waffle
coat in butter
cover with crunchy peanut butter
add 3 slices crispy bacon
cover in warm maple syrup

DO IT NOW! I COMMAND YOU!!

Seriously? No love of The SPAM?

I haven't tried all the flavors (mainly because I can't find them), but you can't go wrong with SPAM Lite sliced thin, pan-fried, then rolled with steamed rice and seasoned nori (not talking about musubi, but rather uramaki).

BB

Garlic Mashed Potatoes at the Mai-Kai ~

Double Yum!

W

My friend Sparky passed this on a Seattle street today and sended me a cellphone pic...

Mmmmmmm- Truckbed giant fiberglass donut!
