homemade tiki bar by tiki racer

Pages: 1 6 replies

Thought you'd might like to see my homemade tiki bar.

Started with an old book case and a window fitting bought for 15 pounds from a reclaim yard.

Fixed it at the top after realigning the shelf.

Added the matting [from cheekytiki] and some foam side panels [fabric from ebay], floor slates made up the bar top

got some cheap xmas lights in the new year sale

here's close up of the light with a full mug shelf

here's the bar in position - open for business

just a corner of England that will be forever tiki

tikiracer,

The homemade bar is really well done. I like the salvaged window and the bar top slate is ingenious.

that's a really neat idea! I've always looked at the bars with glass in the front and I've always wanted to do that whenever i get a place of my own.
