3/4 oz. Spiced Rum
1/2 oz. 151 Proof Demerera
1/8 oz. Pimento Liqueur

Combine ingredients together in a shaker, and pour over a freshly packed snowball....
(Cookie Optional)

Happy Holidays!!!

Aloha & Happy Holidays to all of the TC Ohana!!!

Tonight is the sixth night of Hanukkah... My picture tonight is of a Vintage Hanukkah. My Parent's were nice enough to loan me our family menorah, some candles and some Kosher wine. My Hanukkah Gift this evening was a dreidel and the traditional Hanukkah Gelt! Father time is watching over the evenings festivities.

Okay, for scheduling purposes, we're moving TikiSHOUT International Happy Hour to THURSDAY NIGHTS in 2007. We're also changing the starting hours. So that you East-Coasters can participate and still make it to work on Friday, we're gonna bump up the start time to 7pm Eastern...and the rest of us will trickle in at a leisurely pace to follow the sun westward.

This week's theme...Fire.

Have at it!

TT

T

Yay! Woo Hoo! Earlier & we get to light things on Fire!!!

Tikisgrl

Just to ring out the old Wednesday event....I am having a Tuesday night drink (practicing up for Thursday). Lemonella over the rocks.....quite refreshing!!!

T

Tonight's theme is "Fire" In honor of this and our friend Woofmutt's birthday here's some cake, some gin & some candy.

So, because there just aren't enough holidays about Candy I'm declaring today the official cow tails, bullseye's, caramel's & hearts day! Using Woofmutt's Birthday 01/11 as the kick off date for a random holiday!

Now for some cake!!! Happy Birthday !!! Sorry you weren't here to share!!!

Tikisgrl

P.S. Coconut Shells make good candy dishes

From the steamy jungles of the Teko Teko Room...comes a dark beverage of mysterious origins...a Trader Vic's™ Planter's Punch. Served eloquently in a Poptiki™ brand Volcano mug. I love this mug...because you can make ANY drink...even a rum and coke...FLAMBOYANT!

***CAUTION...Drinking flaming beverages is potentially hazardous. Remember kids, flames are hot!

Cool photos courtesy of my GORILLAPOD™

Well, I was trying to pull off this really cool shot outside cuz it's like 15&#186 outside...but the flash wrecked the cool flame:

So, instead, I chose a different venue for tonight's new concotion. I give you the Frostcutter:

Basically, a fogcutter but with 1 oz. Lemon Hart 151 substituted for the Sherry...and a couple sugar cubes doused in that same elixr and FOOMP!

I got no flaming drinks yet...I am saving that experience for my first trip to FI (sometime). But I got flaming nostrils from finishing of the Lemonella I was drinking on Tuesday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOOFY!!! Here's to you. :drink:

I call it, "The Flaming Clementine"

It is:

The Juice of 4 Clementines
One shot of Orange Curacao
One shot of Light Rum
One shot of Parrot Bay Mango
Half a shot of Dark Rum
and 151 (whatever spilled over before I lit it)

Just fabulous there....very flamy and exotic!!!

T

Wow! That looks GREAT! I love the look of those volcano bowls...what can I say.

That is gonna make me spend money....off to Tiki Farm for a Scorpion Bowl.....I know they still have the yellow one (I wanted the blue one). :)

OK you lot of loosers....we missed all of February....so let's get back on board for March.

Hypnotiq.....mmmmmmmmmm

Saddened by the passing of Don Ho, I invite all my tiki central friends to raise a glass in honor of the big voice that to many of us was the sound of Hawaii.

Aloha nui, Don Ho!

Don,

Here's to ya! You will be missed and always remembered!

[ Edited by: HelzTiki 2007-04-14 21:52 ]

Don't have time for a fancy drink... here's an empty glass... It was a Navy Grog... A toast to Don Ho!

I played cards with da girls last night and we drank and cussed and chaeted till around 2am. We talked about Don Ho, and even shared the fun with the New England Viking (who looks like he was struck in the putooty by lighting in this encounter). RIP Don....we will all miss you. I sucked down quite a few mimosa (made with guava juice for me).

Tonight's libation for me, is a new drink I concocted to show off the voluptuous curves of this highball.

The Green Moray

This GREEN drink is long, and has a bit of tooth. You are advised to keep your fingers out of its mouth.

Agreed.

This is what I did on Easter:

It seemed completely wasted on the Let's-make-falernum! crowd over in Drinks & Food and felt like something only the International Happy Hour set could truly appreciate.

leisure_master made me one of these the other night at the infamous Rhum Rhum Room and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I t was my, "this-is-the-special-cocktail-I-want-you-to-make-for-me-for-being-here" drink...mostly because of the post you made about the ingredients elsewhere on some exotic island with Moais on it. Thanks. (I kept forgetting the name of the thing...must have been the Mai-Tais or Zombies).
