Crazy world aint it? That's still 30 new pieces between Clys and I... Who knows how many new ones the TOE will splash out! Saturday January 5th... 8pm to Midnight... After spending the day making mugs at Mieko's and then picking up mugs for the gallery with Clysdalle at Tiki Farm, where Holden let me shop to my heart's content, it was like seeing an entirely different show. So much of the art was sold and taken from the gallery before Christmas and so many more new pieces were added that the guys had to put up a portable wall to finish hanging everything. I finally got a chance to talk to the artists about their pieces and the projects that they're currently working on and their upcoming shows. BigToe - Thanks again for the sketches of your new Tiki Farm mugs. I'm anxiously awaiting their release. Kenny - Thanks for always being so incredibly kind to me. I need to shop more. I'll PM you. Clysdalle - Thanks...oh wait. You gave me shit all day long. Seriously. For like 13 hours. But still, you're a good friend and an extraordinarily talented artist. I love your style despite the fact that it scares the bejeezus out of me most of the time.

Thanks to all of you who attended this or the first Reception! Thanks to all those people who bought those 32 Ruzic paintings... you're helping me with 3-4 months rent for my studio! And art Supplies!Mahalos!!! What a Blast! Thanks especially to the light gallery,Steven,BigToe, and Clysdalle! It sounds like a 3 Kings Deux Show should be in order near the end of the 2008! Here's some PIX! Only a little bit of rain that evening.... Here's the limo we took to the show! Decided to get a few shots of the Toe gettin out so you'd all believe me... Tiki-Kate graced us with her Smiley Self! Here she is with Babalu's Man-O-WarBird from Hiphipahula... That thing is even more awesome in PERSON! Way to go Rick! Remind me to be reeeal nice to Kelly near the holidays next year! :) Here's Steven,the owner of the light gallery.... We had so many new pieces that we had to get an extra wall set up near the entrance.... BigToe's "SurfNazi" was hanging there.... forgot to get a shot of that and the Local painting of his... Tom-post some pics of those new ones for us! Here's a mid-reception shot with one of the 3 drunk guys we had to kick out after they knocked a piece off the wall... Sheesh! If you ever see this spazz on the street,kick him for me! Here's a shot from the back of the gallery in the hallway... Here's some people shots.... My good friend Susan with Debbie,who was the handy dandy bartender and overall blessing and helper! If you look in the Background,you will notice that The light gallery is now proudly selling TikiFarm products! Represent! Here's GROG! Ernie's lookin all spiffy,having a newly shorn face and snazzy Hula girl shirt! Ladies....he is available! Here's the infamous Bamboo Ben,honoring us with his presence and posing by this trippy Easter bunny painting outside on the back patio.... Classic shot! and we haven't even brought up the Marley mangina yet! Here's a sweet shot of Mrs. BooBen and Mrs. LLT,hiding from the crowd and plotting ways to exploit their spouse's talents even more! :lol: What a Handsome Couple! Squid and GROG forcing smiles in front of the gallery... Sir Squid,Ravenne,and the notorious WEEGEE sipping drinks,and talking all fancy-like! Toe,Clysdalle and some other guy blabbering ArtSpeak and confusing each other.... Hiphipahula and Kate chillin like villians... I really like this picture! they look so sweet! Here's a Close-up of Clysdalle's "Island hunter"... Pretty Spectacular! The back is just as good as the front of it! it's like 3-D or somethin! Here's a shot of my twin brother with Squiddles..... We look exactly alike except for the hair.... Mom loves me more! and now...finally...onto the bob Marley mangina saga.... Whilst outside in the back, we were all smoking an joking and checking out the art outside... Well, there were 4 pencil portraits of Bob Marley out there and somebody (i won't mention names) noticed that Bob had a Camel toe of sorts.... so we took some pictures! Here's ben pointing out the offensive area... and here's a shot of Kelly that i would never dream her posing for! She's soooooooo High School! Well....that's all i got!
