I want to thank the London tikiphiles who showed up on Saturday the 7th. They gave a warm reception and were very generous with their time. Everyone was very down-to-earth and enthusiastic about tiki culture. Cocktails were imbibed by all. Digging in my bag of archaic British expressions, I found this one which sums up my feelings: Huzzah!

Do we have a date yet for the Luau as postponed until "Early September"? I've been keeping the weekend of Saturday 6th September open, but the rest of my September diary is already starting to fill up!

I'll be in London but not until late November. My old flatmate Rob that works at St Thomas's Hospital there is getting married in January so we are having a stag weekend in Edinbugh and I may come early.
