Yeah, you'd think they were in a high rent district or something. On the bright side Unga, no flaming drinks for you to worry about! :) |

aren't the Mai Tais in EmmeryVille $14. I know its a bit of money, but I'd rather Pay 12 to 15 bucks for a great drink. than 6 to 8 bucks for a horrible drink. (most the time)you get what you pay for. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

My argument has always been a Trader Vic's drink is better than 2 drinks somewhere else so I don't mind. |

I asked John about the price of a Mai Tai. It hasn't been set yet. I too would like to see a high quality Mai Tai offered like the $100.00 Mai Tai that the Bum suggests. $14.00 will be a bargain for their Mai Tai as John informs me that the bar manager he is hiring is a true mixologist and will only use fresh ingredients and good rum. ZPersonally I agree with Boris, I will pay more for quality. |

The website has an email address posted for sending contact info to pre-order the mug. Is this still in effect? I sent off my info last week but I haven't heard from anyone. |

I was there recently and had both their flaming cocktail in a Tiki Mug, as well as the flaming chocho as the pupu. There was hula, too! Amazing and wonderful time. I felt as if I was at a Luau, but better as it is here at home, and more Tiki! |
