This is good news. If the Bum gives the type of ink to the mai tai that he gave the zombie in "Sippin' Safari" you can put me down for a copy.

Actually the first self published "Grog Log" came out in 1995, but you are correct OceaOtica the SLG version which most everyone knows came out in 98.

The Bum's seminar at this year's Hukilau is all about the Mai-Tai:

Friday, June 12

The Bum is back with an all new seminar where we discuss just who is the inventor of the famous Mai-Tai! This is limited seating and one hour in length-Q&A to follow. Entry with Seminar Ticket or Full Weekend Pass

I just got my copy of "Sippin Safari" in the mail yesterday from Amazon. 2nd printing, dated January 2009, so that expalains the long wait (I was backorded for about 3 months).

Lots of goodies in this title, too, and now you don't have to wait. Pub'd right here in San Jose, CA!

It's another Bosko masterpiece, ingeniously conceived and painstakingly built by him...

...and then reassembled in my bedroom for me to light and shoot it:

Any news on when this is going to be released?
I thought it was supposed to come out in December?

Edit: Nevermind. It's February

oops - there could be some messed up tiki drinks out there - 1/4 oz. is 1.5 teaspoons, not 2 teaspoons.

Leisure Master is right. The conversion is wrong. Hopefully someone else already cought it prior and that page is just an early draft.
However, delaying the book to make such critical corrections is a wait well worth it.
