Not yet - been lagging and my pile-o-parts is getting bigger... I think I have enough for like 7 or 8 lamps now! Trad'r Bill |

Hi Trad'r Bill, love you and tikiskip's lamps. Can you guys recommend bulb type and wattage that you're using? Keep up the fantastic work, I really enjoy seeing your stuff. Chris westadad.blogspot.com [ Edited by: WestADad 2010-04-15 10:08 ] |

lookin' good tikiskip... your attention to detail is great. I haven't been able to finish mine yet - I've got my schedule full with going to TVs Emeryville every night this week before they close - heheh |

I finished the birdcage lamp tonight - It's pretty simple, but I think it looks nice... I used papyrus for the shade and vintage cork fishing floats on the bottom: Thanks for lookin' -Trad'r Bill [ Edited by: Trad'r Bill 2010-04-28 23:50 ] |

Sweet lamp! What do you think about having larger holes in the cork to let a little downward light out? Chris http://www.westadad.blogspot.com [ Edited by: WestADad 2010-04-29 06:56 ] |

I finished up this double-weave lamp today... the woven shade is vintage, and the inner green shade and lamp guts were added by me. I found some pretty cool paper I used for the shade - it reminds me of sea grass... It's hard to tell from the pictures, but there is actually an inner and outer woven shade. Sorry but the pictures came out extra-blurry this time Trad'r Bill [ Edited by: Trad'r Bill 2010-06-20 20:51 ] [ Edited by: Trad'r Bill 2010-06-20 21:37 ] |

Good tips there TB. I would like light to shine through-forgot to mention that part. Anyhow, will figure out how to reinforce tapa using a transparent material. Keep you posted Gold Z |
