Tiki locations in the Sacramento Area (Or Within 1-2 Hours Drive Time)

Pages: 1 2 replies

Me and my girlfriend are looking to go to a nice tiki bar on our anniversary. We live in the greater Sacramento area in northern California, but the only tiki bar we know of (in the area)is Trader Vic's Emeryville, and we'd like to try something different.

Does anyone know of any good locations up here? We'd like to not have to drive too terribly far, but an hour or two is ok.

The Emeryville TV is a great location for a good meal and cocktails. Just south of there in Alameda is Forbidden Island a Nor-Cal jewel. Fabulous drinks, appetizers and ambiance.

Check out Minnie's in Modesto. It's been around since the 50's. Its about an hour and a half from Sacramento.
