There's a pic of the same bowl in Kohalacharms's collection toward the bottom of this page: http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=35643&forum=5&start=15&hilite=crypto It's sandwiched between the two Gremlin bowls which are from Trader Vics, so I'm guessing this is a Trader Vics design as well. I know I've seen discussion on it somewhere but can't remember what thread. |

Very beautiful old (1940s?) piece indeed and very rare. I've never seen one before. I would have to agree with Trader Tom in that it is most likely an early Trader Vic's piece. And my guess is that it's most likely Tepco. Amazing piece and thanks for sharing. |
