OMG umeone, you are too funny! I can't wait to show this to Dan. I was thinking your guy lying on his back needed a bit of a crotch bulge but I wouldn't mention that. Then I get to the next set of photos, believe me I'm laughing as I type.

Thanks Wendy, I must tell you I am relieved to have your approval! I thought maybe the TC Police would come and get me for posting porn!

 You get in more trouble for posting something non-tiki non-porn than you do for tiki porn

Very interesting Linda! And don't worry about Creepy Jimmy - the spammers come through and post their spam on random threads. He posted the same spam in 3 or 4 other random threads too, it didn't have anything to do with you. Hakalugi deleted the spam and canceled his account.

Your larger more detailed Coco Loco Island is awesome. The Dick Head one is hilarious I was cracking up with your descriptions... you need a hole in the top to put a straw through so the head can be sucked on...or maybe in this case it would be more of a blowing job than a sucking one? Well as long as it doesn't blow in the kiln I guess it will be fine.

U

Aloha Peeps!

Thank you all for your kind reaction to Mr. Dick Head. Here he is without his cling wrap, he is leather hard  sorry I just had to!

Have a great weekend! I'm taking the day off. Craig has finally got some time to work on the Tiki Bar!

Linda

Aloha,
I got everything glazed and to the Kiln without any mishaps! :D

I've started a miniature Mystery Bowl. Haven't got very far.

I need a little hammock for one of my Islands.

I picked up a lot of my pottery today and I am thrilled with the results! :D I started a thread Tiki Gallery but, couldn't help it had to post here. "best to ask for forgiveness than permission" I think.
No Turtle Soup Bowl, made to late for the found raiser

M.I.A Tiki Dog came out great! I miss her.

Tiki Mug Island

Kahiki Moai

Thanks for stopping!
Mahalo,
Linda

It's like MAGIC when you pull stuff from the kiln, they go in dull & oddly colored and come out bright & shiny. I never get tired of that :)

Great stuff Linda, Mia turned out well and I like the colors on the bird, nice blending.

WOW! Super stuff there Linda! I love tiki mug island, especially the bird mug and the yellow tiki mug. M.I.A turned out really good too, I did not picture it being black but it really works great. I really like the "salt and pepper" glaze you use for the sand on the islands. The turtle bowl is very cool. Looks like your really getting into having fun with your art, which is always good to see.

U

Aloha,

MDM, you are so right, it's great when you open your presents and they are just what you wanted! :D
Tigertail777, thank you for your compliments. You are correct Sir, I have fully immersed my self into my Art! I just hope I don't drown!
Thank you my Tiki Mates for your kind words! Hope that good Karma is bestowed on you all! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Mahalo Y'all,
Linda

Super Cool! It's so much fun to see them finished. The bird mug is a favorite, good job. Wendy

Very Nice Linda! I like them all, Tiki Bob is great but the Mauna Loa is my favorite I think..
So about this Dickhead Cocktail Shaker.....:o Will it come with shaking directions..?

U

Aloha,

Thank you Wendy for all your kind words and encouragement, if not for you I wouldn't be on here and would have missed all the fun! :)

Mahalo Beachbumz, I can't get over how well the Bird mug(Mauna Loa) came out :D Don't you just love it when a plan comes together! As for the Cocktail Shaker, if you need directions I'm sure I can come up, with something! Of course as Craig would say "You know how to keep a hard-on?"..."Don't f#@k with it!" Thanks for your words of encouragement!

Had to do Manual Labor today, so no new progress to report. :( but, tomorrow is another day!

Thanks for stopping by, y'all come back now! :)

Well I finished up the tiny Mystery Bowl, was killing myself with detail but, it's so small the glaze will eat up the detail anyway!

So step away from the miniature! :D

Did another Kahiki Moai Mug was wanting to try some stone texture. I didn't have any sandpaper but, found a green scrubby, we'll see! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Linda,
Love your work!
Great idea with the scrubby. It's amazing how you can find things around the house that come in so handy!

U

Thank you TikiRootsRocka! :) I just keep trying, anything you can pass on from class will be greatly appreciated! :)

U

Well, as I was staring at my newly wedged clay looking for any sign of inspiration...I got nothing. When out of the corner of my eye I got a glimpse of my replacement Mele Kalikimaka Island and in a flash I saw Santa, wiggling his bare feet and enjoying a nice cocktail after a long nights work! :D

So I started with the head, hollowed it out and attached it to his body.

After squishing his body around he plopped down and found legs.

Tooling and tweaking and oh so happy! :D

Mahalo Y'all,
Linda

Santa's so cute. The Moai is terrific as is the mystery bowl. See I was right you found a home where you belong that is a non-stop party. (: Wendy

U

Thank you Wendy, I really can't thank you enough, I do feel at home here. :)

Cheers to you!
Linda

Santa looks like he's howling at the moon!!!

Love the little bowl, so tiny!

U

Thank you Mike, He is a happy Santa!

Ho,Ho,Ho and a Mug of Rum! :)
Linda

That little bowl is very cute, as is Santa. I think Santa wants to drink from the little bowl with a traditional long straw.

U

Hi Tigertail777, That is a great idea! I love it! :) I'm making a trip to the kiln today, can't wait to glaze some more. :) I'm going to go make a long straw. Thanks Tigertail777! :D

Mahalo,
Linda

I can't wait to see it Linda, that is going to one tiki-riffic Santa!

Really, I was just kidding around but I am glad you got some inspiration from my joking. I guess we never know where tiki lightning will strike do we?

U

That's correct Tigertail777, I made a long straw and a fruit stick! I made 2 umbrellas that I'm not sure I'm happy with! :D I am always thankful for inspiration however come by!

Everything made the trip to the Kiln without any problems and I picked up Santa Mug, Dick Head, Coco~Loco and another Happy Hour Island! Been glazing Santa Mug!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for being able to do what I love and for being able to share with all of you!!!
