Cool! Would have looked good with a big head of hair!

What are you using to sand? Tell me you're using a power sander?!

i didnt sand the one with the head dress at all but I did sand the one with the crown with a random orbital.

my second time trying the dry brushing paint on a tiki, here is a before and after pic

That's a cool mailbox! Is it yours or a client's? You better watch out, the mailman might be crap his pants sticking his hand in there.

It's mine, I carved it about a year ago and it was starting to look tired so I decided to paint it. I just learned this dry brush technique from my buddy adam at aloha tiki and I figured this was good a piece to practice on. Believe it or not I have only sold one tiki, but I wouldnt mind having some clients. LOL!

Check it out, i know you guys will be proud of me! Whats different about this picture?

P

nice bro...

a little faster eh?

Im only using it for debarking. Its too dull to carve into the sweet meat

P

not sure if you had ever seen this, but I posted it a while back...

get yourself a dremel and some of their chainsaw sharpening bits...

keeping the blade sharp makes the job 5x faster...

Great Job CC!

As simple & silly as that is It's also
creative & amusing.
I think you knocked that out of the park.
Brilliant.

Thanks guys, that one was inspired by rocks outpost, and for all you powertool fans it was done with a grinder.
