The shade on the left is original old shade from Kahiki the shade on the right is a copy of the Kahiki shade I made some time ago. Mine glows better and has no soy sauce on it. (made about 8 of these shades) Looks better with shades I think.

Was told they filled them with coconut scented oil. But one of my Trader Vic ones had a candle type holder in it.
