Yep Trader Vic.....
Here are mine with old Kahiki lamp shades.

Same lights with kahiki later style shades.
The shade on the left is original old shade from Kahiki
the shade on the right is a copy of the Kahiki shade I made some time ago.
Mine glows better and has no soy sauce on it. (made about 8 of these shades)
Looks better with shades I think.

Thanks for the info I also found this mug at the same time , maybe someone's collection , we had a Trader Vic's in Vancouver up until '97 thinking these came out of there , sorry not too computer savy cannot fix the photo

my lamp is not electrified looks like oil wick .....dangerous

My assumption is it's not supposed to be oil filled but used with a votive small candle in a glass container. I think that is how most of the TV table lamps are/were.

This was posted by Kono several years ago if you want to get an idea of the shade used on your type of TV fixture.

Edit, I just noticed you already have a shade on your lamp.

I have been told that the Kahiki one at first WERE oil lamps, then changed to electric.
Was told they filled them with coconut scented oil.

But one of my Trader Vic ones had a candle type holder in it.

this glass thingy was inside looks like it might have held oil , again sorry for the poor photo , it is a glass cylinder with a wick like material inside
