The food is looking pretty tasty, but I'm not 100% convinced of the drinks after the statement "Concrete Jungle will focus on rum drinks with plenty of mezcal and some tequila drinks". |

And "..it's a Latin American and Caribbean-style tiki bar" and "The name aims to give a sense of the exotic nature of tiki but with an urban sense of style." usually means it's a Tiki-Lite, tropical bar, with maybe some themed mugs. But then there is this statement: "..."My first love was rum," Guerrero said. "I have been pretty obsessed with making tikis for a while." …which is two out of two getting it right, so maybe we should give these guys a break until we get to see pictures :) |

Would like to try in the next couple weeks before we forget about it. Maybe a Tuesday night? Can carpool with Shanti and Trey and maybe Jonny. |

Texans REALLY love their tequila, so they're doing what will help business. I'm sure they'll steer patrons into trying rum drinks. |

I visited this place. The drinks were great and the bartender was friendly. I must admit the place is rough around the edges. I was in San Antonio with friends and insisted that we go. When we found it and their first comment was "Is this place still in business". It was a cinder block building with no sign at the time. This place is further south of the trendy southern part of San Antonio. [ Edited by: Tim_Tiki 2016-04-26 13:53 ] |
