So what restaraunte's let you keep (buy) mugs? I'm mostly only interested in those on the eastern or midwestern part of the US. A few years back I went to the Jeckyle and Hyde in the Village (NYC) and they had a cool pseudo-tiki bar upstairs. Bought a drink that came with a headhunter. quite cool. |

I recently bought several mugs for $5 each at Waikiki Wally's and Ottos Shrunken Head, both of which are in NYC. Also the new Kona Kai in Philly has mugs for sale but they are a major rip off at $12 each. |

Coconut's gives you a free plastic cup (with their logo and a palm tree) when you buy a beer. Best we can do in Dallas. |

For locals an on-every-thrift-store-shelf-find, but Burt Hixson's Warehouse let's you have their Rum Barrel with the drink of the same name, (a potent concoction!) |

My boss was just on a business trip in Chicago, and he brought me a large plastic tiki mug from Bob Chinn's. I believe it's free with the purchase of their mai tai. |

Kon-Tiki in Shreveport, LA tells me thay sell a marked bloody Mary glass (just a clear glass with the name of the restaurant). They also offers un-marked Dynasty mugs. Aloha in Springfield, MO will let you keep one of their Dynasty mugs (new mugs from old OoH molds) for $7. None of them are marked with the name of the place though. When I was at Kon-Tiki in Tucson, AZ last fall, the manager said they'd be selling drinks in a mug before long and he gave me a sample. Its a heavy blue-green mug of a simple design made by Libbey. He didn't say if they'd be marked or not. [ Edited by: tikijackalope on 2004-01-31 16:44 ] |

Forgot Taboo Cove. They have the new reproduction mugs made in china such as the bamboo tumbler and fu manchu. At one point, you could but the large bowls that Bosko hand made, but i think those are gone. Aloha kaua [ Edited by: tikitanked on 2004-01-31 17:37 ] |

The Beachcomber Cafe/Bootlegger Bar in Newport Beach has tiki mugs. Quite a few of them have websites where you can order the mugs. I posted the ones I knew of on another thread. Here it is again.
