Hi All! Long time, no posting... But I do swing by to lurk, and still create tiki when the mood strikes! For several years, I've had an idea kicking around to build a PNG Drum Lamp truer to form... So here it is... 3 ft tall, 9" diameter. Crocodile Kundu Lamp ~Skully [ Edited by: Capt'n Skully 2015-03-17 10:27 ] |

Great concept and very nicely done. Is the red design cut out and illuminated from behind or painted on? |

Thanks all!! And thanks for the kind linkage there, Skip! Didn't mention previously, but the light color can be changed with its remote controlled LEDs... Draws a max of 20w at full intensity. Here's a quick test to see a few possible color variations from over 16 choices and other functions- from the same 2 bulbs. |

Thanks all! Wow Skip! Thanks for taking all the nice pics and the appreciation!! Glad you were able to make it to the show - It was great seeing you and Barb again, and talking tiki with you too. We had lots and lots of compliments on all the lamps, but talking with someone who really understands the theme and what it takes to actually produce them was a real treat. More soon.. And I'll get a few shots of my Kahiki Lamp for you. Now that the lamp is back in my hands, I'm looking forward to addressing and adding a couple more details to finalize it... ~Skully [ Edited by: Capt'n Skully 2015-04-09 20:13 ] |
