Gardenia Mix - What Butter to Use?

Looking to make some DtB Pearl Diver Punches this weekend, and I wanted to know if clarified or regular butter would be best for gardenia mix?

I know BG Reynolds makes one that is coconut-based, but I find that the coconut flavor overpowers the other flavors. Pearl Diver Punch flavor is super delicate imo.

I use regular butter (when I don't just cave and use the BGR stuff because it's so easy) and it results in what I think what you mean by the "delicate" flavor, for sure. YMMV of course.
