That's a Yahoo Instant Messenger Button. If it's there, then that user entered in the Instant messaging info into their profile. Just click on that and you can IM the person. (make sure you uncheck the "launch Java messnger" if you're running Yahoo Instant Messenger already). ~Hanford

Seems potentially pesky, but... I love my cellphone, but it does occasionally scare the hell out of me when I have it on vibrate.

Instead the window will appear minimized in your taskbar (windows) or your apple-equivelent-of-a-taskbar (apple). That can reduce the impact of out-of-the-blue messages. And of course, you can always turn it off if you don't want to be bothered at all. ~Hanford

It worked pretty cool as all of us were able to converse within one dialog box. SCD also had his microphone on and we were able to hear his voice clearly through our computer speakers (with the exception of WeirdUnc's tech probs)! Just thought I'd drop mention this since SCD and I talked about how its a good alternative to Tiki Shout being down right now. It's swell! No conferencing, though.

I like it because it tells me when I have a new hotmail message, and lets me go straight to my in box without having to log in.
